The Instructional Designer is responsible for directing the analysis, planning, design, development, and implementation of Credit Union education initiatives in alignment with strategic and operational goals as set by the Learning & Development Manager. Advocates the corporate vision, mission & values. Supports and communicates strategic action items which ensures quality member service, credit union growth and stability; and helps the credit union meet its established goals. The Instructional Designer will pilot the effort to create innovative education solutions using sound instructional design methodologies, current technologies, and effective project management to meet organizational product development goals.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Computer:
- Fundamental understanding of HTML
- Proficient to expert knowledge of software: Articulate Storyline 360 + Rise 360, Camtasia, SnagIt, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office – particularly PowerPoint
- Proficient in video production and editing along with experience in recording and editing audio
- Experience with Project Management Tools – particularly ClickUp
- Proficient to expert knowledge of MS Teams
- Fundamental understanding of Learning Management Solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/ Training/ Education:
- High School Education or Equivalent, plus two-year college degree in Instructional Design, Education, Management or other related field. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) is preferred.
- Five years relevant work experience as an eLearning specialist or instructional designer in a corporate or non-profit learning and development environment.
