This role will be responsible for Learning and Development programs both internal, and external (customers), and L&D Services. Duties include developing new and updating existing training content (both eLearning and Instructor-Led) using adult learning theory and fostering interactive learning experiences within a professional environment. The candidate will be required to provide progress reporting on open projects and conduct completion reporting for courses delivered via the LMS. The incumbent will be responsible for managing CPSG Learning Manager Systems for internal employees and customer use including the management of the L&D budget. This role will be utilized cross-functionally for educational and general communications projects.
Learning & Development Associate Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; (degree in Training, Teaching or Education related discipline preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant training/instructional design experience building adult learning programs and content
- Proficiency using eLearning software such as Articulate 360 or Storyline
- Video Editing Experience
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience
- Prior experience working in an Employee Development/Training CoE or Human Performance Consulting preferred
- The successful candidate is a strong communicator (verbal and written), self-starter, visually creative, with a strong sense of urgency who works well under pressure and within deadlines
- Ability to work in a Matrix environment and take initiative
- Occasional travel will be required (up to 5%)
- Preferred Qualifications: Articulate 360 or Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Premier Pro or other video editing software, Microsoft Suite, Ability to manager a sales and expense budget
Learning & Development Associate Manager Overview:
- Management of Dealer and Employee Training programs inclusive of budget
Communicates with team members to define deliverables, discuss project status, design outlines, create work plans, and review timelines
- Recommend and design training solutions that are aligned with goals by collaborating with subject matter experts; partnering to identify the target audience’s training needs and creating learning objectives based upon recommendation and solution
- Ensures learning objectives are achieved by incorporating instructional design principles and utilizing instructional design theory
- Ensure course content is accessible via the LMS and reporting capabilities (completion, required vs recommended, etc. are optimized to serve customer reporting needs
- Design and implement course evaluation/net promoter score improvements
- Support marketing and communication development offerings by working closely with Marketing and Corporate Communications
- Ensure all vendor and internally developed content adheres to style guides and branding guidelines
- Utilize and maintain expertise in LMS and content creation software including video editing
- Oversee training completion reporting via the LMS
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
- Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential
The pay range for this position is ($86,7520 to $141,775); base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
