The Designer, Learning Content is responsible for designing and developing learning solutions to create a positive end-user experience to achieve our business goals. The Designer plays a key role in the success within of Alithya’s Business Applications Change Management & Training Organization by creating instructor-led training (ILT) solutions, self-help resources, and self-guided learning content in accordance with all internal and client objectives.

- Analyze, design, develop, implement and revise instructional content solutions, such as…
- eLearnings
- Videos
- Modules
- Courses, etc.
- Work with the Alithya Change Management Consultants to define training content needs in detail and develop specifications.
- Create and deliver instructional materials in a timely manner while adhering to project timelines and scope
- Manage solutions, records, documentation, etc. in accordance with internal and client requirements
- Use creativity to manage ad hoc situations without hesitation
- Communicate with clarity, precision, and influence
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Actively comprehend learner needs and adjust to support those needs
- Identify, measure, and evaluate learner competence and results
Qualifications:
- Effective team-facing communication skills.
- Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working with your customer and your team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness and desire to learn how to create video training content and be in-front of a camera.
- Ability to develop and deliver training presentations and materials, with attention to the principles of Adult Learning Theory
- Technologically savvy; able to learn new systems quickly for training purposes
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of relevant experience. Can be in Learning & Development or in an industry such as Manufacturing, Higher Education, Marketing etc
- Bilingual Preferred(French & English written and spoken)
COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- MS Dynamics 365 (FO/CE) experience a plus
- Basic level knowledge of video creation a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- General office environment or Work From Home based on location, no travel required
