The L&D Specialist is responsible for supporting Employee Engagement, Talent Development and Management, and Organizational Effectiveness initiatives for AIC. This position assists Global HR and FG HRBP in developing the organizational strategies and practices for the organization and translates the strategic vision for learning and leadership development into actionable initiatives and follow-through for adoption to ensure that Hanon Systems develops and retains the best talent.
Primary Responsibilities:
- L&D Specialist is directly responsible for Hanon Systems AIC as well as providing support wherever Commercial, R&D, Program Management, and Quality talent reside
- An active member of the Global Talent Management Team and collaborates with the Global Talent Management Lead, who sits in Palmela, Portugal
- Effectively exchange/interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Executes training needs analysis
- Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders (Novi HR, Global HR team in Korea, Global L&D TL in Palmela, and FG Global HRBP) for all training-related activities
- Collaborates with stakeholders in the creation of a Learning and Development Strategy
- Implement and monitor professional and robust L&D processes to close gaps
- Drive and lead the implementation of online and classroom learning programs
- Design and develop online training material and content such as eLearning courses, educational videos, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, and any other relevant materials
- Optimizing the use of Success Factors establishes a foundation of robust talent data to address strategic business issues and talent shortages
- Strengthen succession planning for critical role development to build a strong pipeline of talent with readiness for these roles
- Assist HRB partners in proactively managing, developing, and continuously improving how we evaluate talent and organizational gaps/opportunities for future growth
- Assist in creating ongoing plans to manage critical role pipelines, talent, and their development.
- Drive the development, assessment, facilitation, and/or leadership of organizational development interventions, programs, and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation
- Apply your knowledge of adult learning theory, L&D best practices, tools, and technology to advise on and evaluate options to elevate the learning and development strategy.
- Lead a small team of Facilitators, inspire and coach your team members, and foster individual and team growth and agility through delegation, feedback, instruction, and encouragement – building on strengths and identifying areas for development
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the business, bringing together best practices and deep business acumen to cultivate cross-disciplinary growth
- Assist in executing employee opinion surveys and work on action plans for the continuous improvement of One Hanon Culture
- Assist in implementing succession planning and enhancing the talent pool
- Implement an efficient and integrated strategy for talent, onboarding, training, and career management
- Impact Organizational effectiveness by providing leadership in managing cultural change within an organization undergoing significant transformation
- Have strategic guidance ready for your executive partners
- Other duties not noted above to build for the future
Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in OD, talent management or employee engagement
Education:
- BS/BA Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related major required. MS Human Resources / Organizational Development preferred
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications:
- Background in training technology
- Exposure to the strategic design, development, and implementation of training programs (in-person and online)
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, and lesson and curriculum planning
- Strong storytelling and writing capabilities
- Fluency in English – oral and written. Other languages are an asset
- Visual design skills and the ability to storyboard are an asset
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and public speaking skills with direct experience in training delivery (in-person and virtual).
- 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Work with and manage third parties and external training agencies.
- Stakeholder management is critical to the success of this role, including the ability to operate in global and complex matrix environments.
