    The Learning and Development Senior Specialist will work closely with the Talent Management AVP to build and implement a robust training offering that accommodates diverse learning styles, leading to enhanced employee performance and organizational productivity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key learning needs and reskill opportunities, develop targeted programs, and measure the impact of learning initiatives on organizational goals. Serve as a resource for employees seeking professional development opportunities and career advancement within the organization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develops and implements comprehensive learning and development strategies tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals.

    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly and consistently across the organization.

    • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning programs aligned with organizational goals and employee development needs; to include leveraging updated technology where appropriate to create individual and team learning paths. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities for skill development.

    • Maintain and enhance the leadership, coaching/mentoring programs providing leaders with the tools and resources needed to foster strong leadership skills development.

    • Provide coaching/mentoring and support to trainers and facilitators to ensure consistency and quality in delivery.

    • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences such as eLearning modules, in- person workshops and job aids.

    • Partner with external vendors, consultants and industry experts as needed to enhance content and delivery methods.

    • Communicates continuously and acts as the primary link between the Human Resources Department and other MCS departments to align and develop the necessary learning and development strategies.

    • Facilitate engaging and impactful learning and development sessions for employees at all levels of the organization.
    Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the diverse learning needs and preferences of participants.

    • Collect and analyze data on learning outcomes, participant satisfaction and behavior change. Use evaluation results to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve learning programs. Analyze performance data and employee feedback to enhance learning quality.

    • Stay current on learning technology and with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure development programs are relevant and compliant.

    • Leverage current main Human Resources department platforms to support learning admin, tracking, and reporting, and identify and recommend additional platforms and tools, as necessary.

    • Support the design of the annual talent management strategic plan with associated budget and relevant KPIs and maintain accurate budgetary information as required.

    • Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business andemployment practices.

    • May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Industrial Psychology, or related areas (Marketing, Management). From five to seven years of previous experience in learning and development, talent management, or related field, preferably in a creative or communications environment.

    OR

    Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or credits leading to a bachelor’s degree. Minimum of eight years of previous experience in learning and development, talent management, or related field, preferably in a creative or communications environment.

    Certifications / Licenses:
    One or more of these certifications preferred:
    • Coaching Certification
    • PHR / SPHR and/or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP
    • Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)

    Languages:

    Spanish – Advanced (writing, comprehension, and conversational)
    English – Advanced (writing, comprehension, and conversational)
