Learning and Development Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to partner with our employees and leaders to facilitate early adoption of digital transformation initiatives, specifically focusing on implementation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, Epicor. This position will be responsible for collecting voice of the customer from senior leadership, IT Applications Management team and end users to design and deliver course curriculum. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can influence people at all levels across the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop guides, eLearning, videos, and other instructional materials to onboard and train existing and new employees about what Epicor is and how they will work with it to process Stephen Gould business.
• Responsible for monitoring and measuring L&D solutions for effectiveness and making changes as needed.
• Create engaging and visually appealing course curriculum, including images, graphics, and videos that will be loaded into our internal Learning Management System (LMS).
• Ensure all instructional materials are accurate, clear, and easy to follow.
• Incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders to meet content needs.
• Determine an appropriate training schedule for existing employees for sites that are Wave 0, Wave 1-2 in terms of system enhancements, as well as those sites that are in Implementation phase.
• Determine appropriate training schedule for all new hires.
• The L&D Specialist is required to communicate regularly within the organization at all levels. Communication involves telephone, virtual meetings, email, written work and presenting to groups.

• Ability to design and deliver L&D solutions requiring a thorough understanding of the training cycle and learning styles
• Influence managers to take a recommended course of action
• Ability to inspire employees around learning
• Strong communication skills
• Project management / personal organization. The ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong business acumen and grasp of supply chain life cycle

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Epicor
• Preferred Experience with Active Presenter
• 5+ years of business acumen in supply chain life cycle
• 2+ years of learning and development experience
