The Digital division is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team. The Learning & Development Specialist designs and delivers content and programs that inspire our people personally and professionally. We’re creating an always-learning culture as well as an always learning growth mindset. We collaborate effectively with experts around the organization to ensure learning is timely, impactful, and relevant. As a Learning & Development Specialist on the Digital People & Culture team, you will be the face of CHG’s culture for new hires, along playing a key role in their onboarding. You’ll onboard new leaders to Digital’s processes and practices. You’ll add your experience and expertise to design and deliver learning both in-person and virtually. You’ll play a key role in identifying and delivering continuous learning opportunities for all our people, including designing job skills and career path curriculum for various Digital job families. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Digital People & Culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continue to improve a Digital Onboarding Program for new hires
- Develop and continue to improve a Digital Leader Onboarding Program for new leaders
- Facilitate trainings, both in-person and virtually, to audiences including new hires, individual contributors, leaders, and executives
- Design, schedule, and execute curriculum and learning programs for job skills in Digital’s job families, including but not limited to the utilization of educational platforms
- Contribute to new courses, content development, and improvements to existing resources with input from subject matter experts
- Provide effective consultative guidance and support to leaders and others making training requests that fall outside of existing programs
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and attitude in your communication and interactions with others

- Persistent Enthusiasm to Learn demonstrated by proactive curiosity, continuous learning, and continuous improvement
Education
- 2+ years of professional facilitation/presenting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competence using Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Presentation technology experience with the ability to create different types of courses (e.g. video recordings, e-learnings, live training sessions, Q&A panels, etc.)
- Successfully manage multiple programs/projects at once
Preferred
- Experience applying different types of learning models (e.g. ADDIE, Bloom’s Learning Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick’s, etc.)
- Experience utilizing eLearning tools and instructional design
