    Hogan Lovells is a global law firm with over 2,800 lawyers working across more than 45 oiffces. HL Learn provides professional development programming for the firm’s lawyers and business team. The Senior Learning and Development Coordinator will be primarily responsible for working with the team to deliver its comprehensive training for Americas lawyers. Programs range in duration from 60 minutes to multiple weeks, and include in-person, remote-learning or eLearning programs. This is a hyrid role that requires a minimum of three days working in the office.
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    • Project management: Create and execute on project plans for training programs, including timelines, milestones, resources, faculty, and deliverables.
    • Logistics and administrative coordination: Coordinate all logistics of training programs, including communicating with stakeholders, scheduling, venue selection and contracting, registration/invitations, participant and travel tracking, technology setup, materials production, and administration of program apps (e.g., BrightCrowd, MS Teams).
    • Program communications: Produce engaging and clear communications to promote programs and initiatives.
    • Support on-site program logistics: Organize program set up and ensure programs run smoothly, staff registration desk for live programs and serve as Zoom producer for remote programs.
    • Coordinate with internal and external faculty: Coordinate and facilitate briefing calls, draft communications, review materials, process expenses, and monitor timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Facilitation: Facilitate small group breakout sessions during programs.
    • Contribute to program design. Assist with training needs assessment and program design. Research best practices in leaning tools, new vendors, and other cutting-edge resources to keep department current and innovative.
    • Coordinate post-program activities: Create evaluation surveys (in software such as SurveyMonkey), schedule and run debrief sessions, track lessons learned, create and summarize program evaluations.
    • Document creation. Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and iPublish communications. Sample documents include brochures, learning resources, and stakeholder presentations.
    • E-learning. Provide support for the deparment’s eLearning initiatives, including assisting with reviewing and selecting programs for self-paced and blended learning programs and curricula.
    • Administrative support. Provide administrative support to department (e.g., managers, directors and Chief) including setting up calls/meetings and related logistics, and daily operational needs
    • All members of the firm are expected to participate in our Responsible Business program
    • All other duties as may be assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in organizational development, instructional design, leadership, learning, or a related field a plus.
    • A minimum of three years of relevant experience with professional development and/or event planning required
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proactive and takes ownership for moving project forward
    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Ability to communicate and interact at both senior and junior levels of the organization
    • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
    • Proven competence with software applications and technology, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and interest/ability to learn new technologies (e.g., Learning Management System)
    • Enthusiasm and desire to pursue a career in learning and development
    • Excels at working both independently and collaboratively with others
    • Skill and creativity in developing engaging Power Points graphics/slides for presentations a plus
    HOURS
    Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch, with overtime as needed for program support. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule that requires a minimum of three days a week in the Washington, D.C. office.
