The Business Capital Learning and Development Program Associate is a hands-on, individual contributor for our Business Capital Team. This position has vast learning and development growth potential for the right candidate. FCB provides financing solutions for borrowers and lessees, and assists manufacturers and distributors in growing sales, profitability, and customer loyalty by providing customized, value-added finance solutions to its commercial clients. FCB’s technology platform allows small businesses to access financing through a highly automated credit approval, documentation, and funding process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Enterprise Learning and Talent Development (EL&TD) and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, facilitate and manage a comprehensive Business Capital training program
- Partner with business SMEs on developing and facilitating program objectives, strategies, resourcing, and workplans across Business Capital
- Ensure new hires have the tools and systems access needed for success
- Meet with learners and department leaders at least bi-weekly to appropriately assess new hire progression throughout the training program. This includes identifying learning strengths and gaps to develop suitable timelines along with creating and monitoring development plans to address any gaps accordingly
- Coordinate program rotation of learners with applicable supervisors.
- Work with Business Partners and SMEs on various, simultaneous training deliverables
- Regularly perform needs analysis to determine appropriate course content and course delivery method (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, convert existing classroom content to online learning, blended learning, etc.) and adjust accordingly
- Collaborate with SMEs to take ownership of desktop procedures and training materials as changes occur (at least annually)
- Produce analytical strategies for measuring and assessing results of learning initiatives and implementing enhancements
Qualifications:
- 3 Years min. experience across multiple facets of Business Capital to include systems, functions, and processes
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred – High Diploma or GED Required
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship development and written communication skills to connect with all levels throughout the organization
- Quick learner, agile, proactive, keen attention to detail, analytical, consultative in thought, innovative, self-starter, ability to multi-task and own a project from day one
- Strong presentation skills to effectively present technical and complex information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
- Ability to extensively research and analyze training options/alternatives and providing recommendations
- Works well under pressure and takes a proactive approach to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders and priorities
- Experience in training, coaching and mentoring team members
- Knowledge of basic business, banking or equipment financing terminology/concepts, federal regulations, policies, and/or operating procedures
- Experience developing creative and impactful learning programs, courses, and content (eLearning, virtual classroom, instructor-led, and other learning delivery methods)
