    SUMMARYThis position will be focused on creating hybrid learning for our network of Hotels & Resorts with a focus on attracting, retaining and growing talent. The ideal candidate for this position must understand the service industry and will have the ability to create and facilitate trainings customized for our company. This position will communicate our brand via internal communication channels, and support the learning and development function within our company.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops curriculum and facilitates interactive learning modules incorporating adult learning strategies for workshops including but not limited to Manager Toolkit, New Hire Orientation, Anti-Harassment, DEI and other leadership development programs as needed.
    • Prioritizes creation of curriculum for key departments with a focus on safety & service skill-based training and will assist with department facilitation as needed.
    • Responsible for developing the eLearning framework and provides guidance on the creation, implementation and administration of the web-based training.
    • Drives relationships through excellent communication skills, sharp business acumen and providing a strong consultative approach to learning and development.
    • Assists with change management related to HR projects including system implementations, policy updates, and other new employee programs.
    • Works closely with Talent & Acquisition, Rewards and Celebrations, HR Operations, HRIS, Benefits & Total Rewards to support communication and training materials as needed.
    • Responsible for the creation of company-wide communication including but not limited to newsletters, employee e-mail campaigns, employee surveys, social media and intranet content.
    • Builds and cultivates a learning library available for employees ready to be deployed both in classroom and via LMS across the enterprise.
    • Provides LMS administration and tracks and monitors progress using business analytics and provides reports to the business for careful review.
    • Facilitates and administers enterprise-wide employee pulse surveys and engagement surveys as needed within the HCM platform.
    • Focused on improving NPS scores where applicable and assists with creating feedback for employees and managers based on guest research and surveys.
    • Develops flyers, posters, presentations and other communication in accordance with brand guidelines and provides professional looking collateral for our employees.
    • Actively solicits the business for ideas and input on future skill-based learning programs so to maintain a culture of learning and development.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCETo perform this position successfully the applicant must demonstrate a track record of success in developing and implementing successful and creative training solutions, while utilizing key personnel to maintain continuity in training solutions following the initial delivery. Must be highly creative & engaging, with strong communication skills.

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University, plus 2 to 4 years of prior learning & development or organizational efficiency experience in hospitality industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Advanced proficiency in the English language (both written & verbal) is required.
    • Advanced proficiency in general computer programs, including Microsoft Windows applications, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, etc.) and Adobe (Acrobat, Reader, etc.) software is preferred.
