    The Director of Learning and Development will lead the design, development and delivery of high impact and sustainable learning and development programs to ensure Integra LifeSciences has the organizational capability to meet ongoing and future business objectives. The Director will partner with business leaders for the assessment of current and future talent needs to support business strategy.
    • Lead design and delivery of all learning experiences across the company in the most progressive and effective manner.
    • Ensure an ongoing process exists that continuously enhances the knowledge and capability of leadership talent, enabling managers to effectively lead the organization toward achievement of strategic initiatives.
    • Manage external vendor and consulting relationships, including the use of his/her own current network.
    • Effectively build eLearning, self-paced and experiential learning experiences.
    • Design and implement assessment processes to monitor existing talent skills and gaps to meet current and future needs.
    • Through the use of techniques that maximize learner participation, comprehension and application, deliver high impact products and services.
    • Remain current with trends and issues in the marketplace that will help shape and enhance the design, development and implementation of talent and learning products, services and interventions.
    • Determine appropriate delivery methods with a focus on leveraging and incorporating technology to support learning objectives.
    • Oversee the development and management of the Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Evaluate program effectiveness and measure change in capabilities and behavior.
    • Identify development opportunities and coach company leaders in order to increase their managerial and leadership effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Possesses the level of vision and passion required to drive progressive learning experiences.
    • Ability to create a learning culture within an organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality deliverables.
    • Excellent leadership, communication and presentation abilities and analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to operate with ambiguity and able to maintain strong results focus in a high change environment.
    • Proven ability to conceptualize and successfully implement curricula for sustained business growth.
    • Demonstrates a positive, proactive and self-directed approach.
    • Desire to contribute directly to the strategic success of the business.
    • Experience in creating learning and development approaches, leadership development, change management and organizational development initiatives.
    • Deep knowledge of instructional design.
    • Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks.
    • Thrives in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment; builds strong interpersonal relationships at all levels.
    • Experience using action-learning to reinforce and transfer learning objectives to the job.
    • Experience in utilizing assessment tools for needs assessment, manager and employee development, selection, team effectiveness and employee engagement.
    • Must demonstrate a sense of curiosity and knowledge about business strategies as well as an ability to consult with partners credibly and influence successfully.
    • Strong leader and innovative thinker.
