We are recruiting an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) with expertise in eLearning software (Agile), Bloom’s Taxonomy, and ADDIE. The ISD will design, plan, create and implement instructor support packages for a federal government program. This position will be a full-time direct hire to our client.
Location: Remote from a U.S. based location

Security Access: Current Secret, Public Trust, or eligibility to obtain security access
Role and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Support a blended government and contractor team developing and delivering eLearning modules for federal customer
- Support full ISD process to gather requirements and bring creativity and design experience to delivery training products
- Collect and consolidate information and incorporate into course documents
- Review unfinished work products and deliver training products that bring value to non-ISD audiences
- Perform quality reviews
- Continuously review work processes and bring efficiency to technical issues and business processees
- Interact with stakeholders, as requested, to verify requirements and ensure products/deliverable meet expectations
- Maintain compliance with Section 508
- Manage training content in shared repository
- Participate in ongoing end-to-end training curriculum review processes to ensure continuous updates and improvements
- Other duties, as assigned
Required experience and qualifications include (but not limited to):
- US Citizenship
- Current US Government security clearance or eligibility to obtain Public Trust access
- 6+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in an ISD related discipline OR 4+ years of related experience with a master’s degree in a related discipline
- Expertise collecting and consolidating complex information into plain language course documents
- Experience in contemporary methods of adult learning theory, curriculum design to build and blended approach education
- Expertise with ADDIE
- Expertise with Bloom’s Taxonomy
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience applying instructional design theory to course design content
- Experience with desktop publishing tools for print layout design and visual graphic layout
- Experience working in a federal government contracting environment and directly interacting with stakeholders
- Proficient verbal and written English language communication skills
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and interact with a variety of stakeholders/teams to meet project deliverables
- Hands-on experience designing and developing multi-mode training modules
- Experience with training delivery (standup, virtual, e-learning)
- Experience developing and analyzing student/user surveys and conducting reviews to implement changes ongoing process improvements
- Proficiency working with the latest Adobe and Google software
- Experience using a variety of ISD tools and technologies such as Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline 360
- Proficiency working across the MS Office Suite
- Experience managing content development and documentation in a shared repository such as SharePoint
- Experience with Adobe Connect training webinars or similar distance learning tools
Preferred experience:
- Prior eLearning experience supporting General Services Administration (GSA) customer
- Industry recognized instructional design and/or curriculum development certifications
- Proficiency working with Google Productivity Apps
