    Overview: OD Resource Group, LLC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) HR Learning Management Division (LMD) training and development requirements.

    Key Responsibilities/Duties:

    · Establish, communicate, and execute a plan for review of all DTRA training activities

    · Identify discrepancies and/or gaps between current industry training standards and what DTRA offers

    · Recommend training plan modifications, including standardized methods for training, delivery and evaluation to close training gaps and improve the DTRA Training Program

    · Design new eLearning/web-based courses for use by DTRA employees based on the current needs of the Agency using the Kirkpatrick model for analyzing and evaluating the results of training and educational programs

    · Utilize eLearning software to create online and virtual training compatible with the new DTRA training platform, Cornerstone LMS

    · Recommend relevant changes and updates to Agency training plans, including standardized methods for training, delivery and performance

    · Monitor communications with customers via phone and email to provide support with the new Cornerstone LMS platform

    · Design and develop standard and customized reports to serve DTRA personnel

    · Establish recurring reports and notifications within the Cornerstone LMS platform to assist with management of training requirements for LMS program manager and DTRA course managers

    · Provide advisory support to the HR-LMD team including any lessons learned on task execution throughout the period of performance of the task

    · Create and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact and course information to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders

    · Apply knowledge of Department of Defense to provide relevant recommendations for exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) to support engaging course content and retention of information

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience instructional systems design, educational technology or similar relevant field

    · 5+ years’ experience of creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content

    • Must have advanced knowledge in authoring tools to develop and host computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT) (i.e., Cornerstone LMS, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Camtasia, etc.)
    • Must have good analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to create innovative training solutions
    • Ability to develop, support, and manage if needed a training program
    • Client Facing external consulting experience
    • Experience working with DoD customers
    • Developing actions to promote culture change and boost interpersonal engagement across organization, designing support programs, procedures, and processes
    • Implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
    • Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/ projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $85,000.00 per year

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Monday to Friday

    Experience:

    • Adobe Captivate: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Instructional design: 5 years (Preferred)

    Security clearance:

    • Secret (Required)
