We are working exclusively with our client to identify an Instructional Designer to develop an engaging training program for leaders on how to manage a virtual team. The Training will include a simulation for managing virtual teams, including how to hold people accountable, how to maximize collaboration, and how to handle critical issues. The audience for this program is: Senior Management, Mid-Level Management, and Frontline Management. The overall program will be similar for each audience level, but needs to have different level-specific content as well.
There is no existing content, but they will be receiving content from DDI. The Instructional Designer will perform research and work with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop the training program. It will be a total of a half day (3.5 hour) instructor-led training (ILT) and will roll out in mid-March.
Once the initial piece is complete, the Instructional Designer will develop a simulation for how those skills work on the job. It could be a simple ILT or eLearning based workshop.
Start Date: March 6, 2023
Duration: through Mid-April; 40 hours for first month, then shift to 10-20 hours/week for remainder
Location: 100% Virtual
Required Experience:
- Strong Instructional Design experience
- Experience developing training for managing virtual teams
- Experience creating Leadership Development content??????
- Experience with Articulate 360
- Strong communicator who can work quickly against a very tight deadline
