Instructional Designer Remote Job

We are working closely with our client in locating an experienced Instructional Design Consultant to develop an interactive job aid and eLearning course aimed at assisting employees with submitting procurement requests. This initiative is critical for streamlining their procurement processes and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a 15-minute interactive eLearning course to train employees explaining the procurement request process.
• Create an interactive job aid to support employees in submitting procurement requests.
• Design and implement a PALT (Procurement, Action, Lead, Time) Calculator to be hosted on the intranet, providing lead times for procurement request resolution.
• Collaborate with SMEs and project stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Utilize existing content (90%) to develop training materials, supplementing them with additional information as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Instructional Design, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive eLearning content.
• Advanced Excel skills for creating the PALT Calculator.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with SMEs and project stakeholders.
• Experience with procurement processes and policies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) for eLearning development.
• Experience with Excel.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing project needs.

Deliverables:

• One 15-minute interactive eLearning course.
• Interactive job aid for procurement request submissions.
• PALT Calculator developed in Excel for intranet deployment.

Tools and Requirements:

Must use own laptop and tools (no additional licenses required).
Client will provide a contractor email account with restricted access to Confluence.

Start: Late-July
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (with some flexibility)
Location: 100% Virtual

The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
