Instructional Designer Remote Job

Our existing client (construction materials mfg.) is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer with exceptional visual skills to take existing content on the topic “Change” to create two 60-90 minute eLearning modules in Articulate (Storyline & Rise). The client is seeking engaging, interactive, scenario-based learning with knowledge checks and high visual appeal. Almost all content exists in the form of PowerPoint slides and Word documents. If additional content is needed it will come from internal SMEs. The goal of the training is to help employees and leaders perform their respective roles within change and best navigate change. These modules will focus on what change is and why it is necessary at times.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Instructional Technologies or Education, Certifications in eLearning, and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and principles.
• 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design & Development creating Blended Learning programs for large companies.
• 5+ years’ experience creating engaging, interactive, scenario-based eLearning.
• Highly proficient hands-on development skills using Articulate 360, both Storyline and Rise (consultant to provide license).
• Solid visual design sensibilities.
• Must have a good grasp of Change Management concepts and processes (client is not seeking a Change Management SME).
• Must offer excellent ideas on design and a collaborative and friendly professional demeanor.
• Able to screenshare excellent eLearning samples during the interview process.
• Background Check and Drug Screening required for chosen consultant.

Start Date: Client is targeting 8/14/23.

Project Duration: Anticipating 10 weeks with possible extension .

Hours: Must be available 40 hours per week. Working hours are flexible.

Pay: The pay range for this role is $50 to $70 per hour. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
