Develop instructional materials and products and assist in the technology-based redesign of courses. Assist faculty in learning about, becoming proficient in, and applying instructional technology.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Oversee the production and revision of online and hybrid courses to ensure timely completion and delivery of online course production.
  • Perform project management duties for the coordination and tracking of online and hybrid course design and development processes.
  • Provides instructional design and online pedagogy consultation to faculty.
  • Assist faculty in learning about, becoming proficient in, and applying instructional technology.
  • Guide faculty in the online course design process including the alignment of their course and module’s student learning outcomes and assessments.
  • Collaborate with faculty, developers, videographer and other eLearning personnel to create accessible high quality learning resources in a variety of formats including text, graphics, audio, video and animation to support curriculum.
  • Directs videographer in building accessible high-quality online course videos that improve student learning and follow best practice guidelines.
  • Review deliverable for adherence to established course development copyright and ADA standards and policies; communicates those standards with other team members and faculty to ensure proper implementation.
  • Edit and organize electronic information to help faculty create high-quality course content that is suited to online learners.
  • Evaluate online courseware for online courses.
  • Develop and maintain course models, standards and procedures for review.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience; or a combination of education and/or related experience to equal 5 years.
