What you’ll be working on:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop exceptional learning experiences, including content that is accessible anytime and highly interactive for the learner based on the needs of the business.
- Apply creativity and learning design principles to oversee the production of effective learning experiences that improve the performance of teams/employees through the development of key knowledge and application of role specific skills.
- Draft and develop training aids and materials such as presentations, learning materials in conjunction with the subject matter expert using PowerPoint or other software
- Translate process/technical/system information to an end user audience to enable adult learning
- Design using agile methodology and receive feedback openly with curiosity to create the best product.
- Collaborate with other team members to create and deliver effective business engagement, communications, and learning deliverables using PowerPoint and Word (eg. Job Aids, Instructor Led Training materials, Task Guides, etc.)
- Provide input in developing a training strategy as part of holistic change strategy for system optimization, technical onboarding
- Assist with the analysis of change impacts and learning needs to develop holistic OCM plan (business engagement, communications, training deliverables needed with milestones, tasks, timeframes, and assumptions) that supports effective behavior change to meet project objectives
- Engage with all project stakeholders to assess change adoption and readiness
- Partner with key business stakeholders to identify organizational impacts, determine impacted audiences, develop and execute change strategies, define adoption success metrics and expected business impacts
- Assist in evaluating and ensuring end user adoption and business readiness of the change
- Provide coaching to help Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Partners fulfill the role of change agent
- Assist with driving adoption, creating accountability and coming up with creative solutions to promote a “simplify and transform-focused”, enterprise-wide mindset.

What is expected of an Instructional Designer:
- Partner with business key stakeholders to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviors and work collaboratively to develop and implement appropriate solutions
- Deliver virtual (and/or) in-person instructor-led training to internal audiences
- Conduct learning needs analysis and determining learning objectives; designing and developing training materials.
- Experience facilitating process discussions, troubleshooting issues and developing change mitigations.
- Experience in driving change, training, and communications resulting from system implementations (eg. ERP, ViewPoint, SAP, Oracle, etc.) using different methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, etc.)
- Must be able to assist in troubleshooting situations to derive root causes and assist in developing change management mitigations
- Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions, facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, meetings and other events.
- Ensure that learning milestones and goals are met
- Consult with other team members to develop appropriate content for key project communications
- 5+ years’ experience supporting complex organizational change initiatives and process changes at the enterprise level.
- 3+ years’ experience developing training and communication materials in support of large ERP implementations for a minimum of 1 full life cycle project.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent related work experience required.
- Consulting experience a bonus, or the demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Global Viewpoint Vista experience a plus
- Must be highly detail-oriented, motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to plan, prioritize and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communications, customer service skills, organizational skills and a positive attitude focused on solutions.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
- Knowledge and experience in creating both Instructor-led training as well as virtual/web-based trainings
- Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models
- Knowledge and experience in creating both Instructor-led training as well as virtual/web-based trainings
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience with eLearning authoring software (Articulate Storyline for example) or learning platforms a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
