This is a full-time position in our Chicago, IL office with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Learning Content Creation:
- Collaborate with SMEs to collect, analyze, and learn operational processes, procedures, and policies. Assist with transferring that information into course content as appropriate to learning objectives.
- Design and develop learning materials in a variety of formats, including but not limited to quick instructor let courses, eLearning modules, reference guides, multimedia, audio and videos.
- Recommend changes to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods, to better adhere to delivery options for the course.
- Remain aware of all emerging instructional technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide Sales Managers scalable resources to reinforce sales training accountability and continued development through on-the-job learnings.
- Participate in creating and implementing new training programs and/or initiatives.
- Gather feedback, ideas, and process improvements from the team and work closely with Sales Leaders and/or functional departments to implement.
- Manage the end-to-end process of designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating effective training curriculum
- Design training for face-to-face, virtual and on-demand/just-in-time delivery methods using creative, innovative, and evidenced- based approaches
- Promote, build, and organize peer-to-peer sales training, best practices, and idea sharing through Allego.
- Collaborate to develop and maintain scalable training resources to solve for coaching needs, learning challenges, and knowledge assessments.
Learning Management Support:
- Partner with the Sales Training Content Specialist to support the management of online content on Allego; uploading content, assigning, tracking and management of courses.
- To include, but not limited to, uploading content, managing audiences, creating curriculums within the LMS system.
Additional Learning Program Support:
- Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Team which may involve streamlining major processes and integrating new ideas to enhance reach/quality of programs, maintenance of programs, and adjusting programs based on organizational initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sales Emblement Team and various business partners in operationalizing the programs by successfully planning, managing, problem solving, and executing the programs.
- Demonstrates energy, enthusiasm and passion with the ability to inspire others.
- Promote, build, and organize peer-to-peer sales training, best practices, and idea sharing through Allego.
- Collaborate to develop and maintain scalable training resources to solve for coaching needs, learning challenges, and knowledge assessments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of and competency in adult learning principles, ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s evaluation of both training programs and training results
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content with content authoring tools such as Storyline, Rise and Camtasia
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite, familiar with other technologies that support training, such as LMS, eLearning authoring tools and distance learning tools
- Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at a high level of competence
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills to deal with internal and external contacts
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Instructional Design experience
- BA or BS (4-year degree) or Certification in Education, Curriculum Design, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or related field – preferred
- Instructional Design experience across a variety of delivery channels (eLearning, blended, face to face, mobile, etc.).
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems – preferred
- Proficient in using Allego and video editing software – preferred
- Experience in Sales Training – preferred
- 2 years Financial Services experience – preferred

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $70,000-$80,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
