    Job Description
    Success in this role means you will regularly:
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, microlearning, demonstrations, simulations, guided support documents, instructor-led training, etc.).
    • Design, test, and deploy courses meeting Albemarle, Capital Projects and Global Project Services standards and best practices.
    • Identify learning resource gaps (i.e., SMEs, technology, language, external resources) necessary to meet instructional design objectives.
    • Administer training programs that enable career advancement for project management employees.
    • Based on consultations, build training programs and campaigns within the LMS that support site goals:
      • Onboarding (for different groups)
      • Progressions
      • Technical training
      • Ad hoc
    • Administer the LMS, including, but not limited to:
      • Ability to create new, add to, and update the LMS system
      • Create new or update existing curricula
      • Create new or update existing certifications
      • Reporting
      • Maintain learner transcripts
      • Troubleshoot and provide assistance when issues arise
      • Guide managers on how to monitor the training of their employees
      • Edit course details and work closely with subject matter experts at the site when needed to identify gaps and develop solutions
      • Ensure training programs are delivered in accordance with our learning and system governance framework and company objectives
      • Uphold the naming convention and brand standards for all content in the LMS
      • Upload SCORM content to the LMS
      • Review course catalog and deactivate retired content
      • Remove withdrawn sessions and courses from employees’ transcripts as needed
      • Maintain the tracking of contractor training within Albemarle University
    Minimum Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, or related field
    • Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and instructional design models (ADDIE and AGILE)
    • 3-5 years of professional experience actively developing content, publishing to SCORM, and deploying multi-lingual learning content across multiple technology platforms (including mobile)
    • Expert level proficiency with course authoring software and ability to demonstrate: Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Captivate, and Camtasia
    • High level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications
    • High level proficiency in using MS Office suite and web-based conference services such as Teams, Skype, ZOOM, and similar technologies
    • Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, while working with multiple levels of key stakeholders
    • Knowledgeable of ADA compliance, fair use guidelines, OSHA, ISO, and GDPR
    • Experience with a learning management system (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred)
    • Knowledge or experience with documentation and records compliance within a regulated industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain collaborative partnerships
    Preferred Education/Experience:
    • 7+ years of current experience developing instructional or training materials in technical and safety compliance environments
    • 3+ years of experience interacting with stakeholders in global organizations.
    • 5-7 years of experience in training design and development in a project focused environment
    • Strong computer and analytical skills.
