    Grow your career as an Instructional Designer within WSI! In this role, your first focus will be to assist our Instructional Design Manager in the creation of educational deliverables for WSI’s new suite of technology. Including a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), Order Management System (OMS), Client Portal, and Transportation Management System (TMS). This role will also be involved in the creation of eLearning, facilitator-led content, and blended training programs for the many divisions of WSI. This position will have the opportunity to grow, as we grow, through multidimensional opportunities and could include facilitator-led training opportunities. This Hourly position will report to the Training Director.

    DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Define and document learning objectives, conduct and collaborate with subject experts.
    • Inspire and generate new ideas, and design content to optimize learning for a diverse team.
    • Watch, listen, and learn from current processes.
    • Create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools utilizing sound design, scripting, and editing.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

    • Training team member must conduct themselves as a personal and a professional role model.
    • Rapid development in eLearning Software such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia preferred.
    • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in education or training and development.
    • Four year college degree or five plus years related experience or equivalent combination.

    PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
    • Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.
