    This role leverages expertise in adult learning and instructional systems design to ensure Kubota University delivers value to stakeholders. The person in this role works collaboratively with Kubota University colleagues and client groups to understand business needs and design impactful learning experiences/job aids to address them. The scope of this work impacts multiple audiences, including Kubota’s dealer channel as well as Kubota employees throughout the United States.

    PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

    • Lead analysis and design activities for proposed training programs, recommending training and non-training solutions to address underlying business opportunities or challenges.
    • Collaborate with Kubota University personnel and Subject Matter Experts in the development and delivery of training programs, including the administration of those programs in the Learning Management System.
    • Design and participate in the deployment of evaluation strategies/tactics to measure the impact Kubota University programs have for learners and the business. Analyze results and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
    • Provide input and recommendations for training plans, curriculum structures, and competency frameworks.
    • Lead Kubota University efforts to define, document, and continually improve processes to positively impact operational effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Research and recommend emerging tools and techniques with the potential to favorably impact Kubota University’s mission to benefit dealers and employees. Favorable impact will be measured by both increased utilization of Kubota University content by dealers and employees, as well as NPS evaluation of courses by students.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, or related field preferred:
    • In lieu of a degree at least 3 years of experience as a practitioner, preferably in a corporate environment required.
    • With a degree at least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Experience working with corporate universities/LMS systems preferred.
    • Ability to show portfolio of previous work; preferably a mixed variation of Web-based, instructor lead, and video based training materials.
    • Ideal candidate should be skilled in facilitation, presentation, and working with stakeholders who bring their own ideas about instructional strategy to analysis/design conversations.
    • Experience in the design and deployment of common instructional approaches or resources (ILT, vILT/Webinars, eLearning/WBT, Instructional Videos, physical/electronic job aids) along with the tools commonly used to produce those outputs preferred.
    • Cross-functional team management and ability to manage/contribute to multiple projects experience needed.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

    LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
    Conversational Spanish or Japanese would be a plus.

    EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):

    • This role will occasionally be required to operate Kubota or competitive equipment including but not limited to Tractors, Skid Steer Loaders, and/or Turf & Utility Equipment.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to safely operate a wide variety of Kubota and competitive equipment.
    • Must also be able to sit/stand to use computers and similar office equipment.
