Design, development, implement, facilitate, assess, and evaluate training programs for Government Risk Solutions in various modalities. Own full-cycle new hire training including quarterly improvements. Liaison with LMS administrators to ensure effective content management. Liaison with internal and external subject matter experts to create effective learning programs. Liaison with Marketing to adhere to company standards. Regularly upkeep and evaluate current content offerings.
This position can be onsite in Dayton, OH or remote in the US.
Accountabilities:
  • Collaborates extensively with subject matter experts, internal customers, and management to analyze training needs, design effective performance improvement solutions, and align learning initiatives with business objectives.
  • Perform gap-analysis and needs assessments including review of job tasks, target populations, technical problems, and performance deficiencies.
  • Develop learning strategies and plans based on outcome of needs assessment.
  • Design and develop effective instructional materials and curriculum for multiple modalities (classroom, web-based, and self-paced). Instructional materials potentially include:
    • Decks
    • Facilitator documents
    • End-user documents
    • Storyboards
    • Scripts
    • Simulations
    • Demonstrations
    • Coaching or role-play activities
    • Case studies
    • Experiential activities
    • Testing – pre and post course (as required)
    • Quick reference guides
  • Align all documentation with Marketing approved templates and standards.
  • Maintain consistent quality standards for content produced.
  • Create and maintain learning templates, content design requirements and guidelines, quality check process, content publishing process and requirements.
  • Provide editorial and instructional design support for course development.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and post the New Hire Training program.
  • Develop and track post-training feedback.
  • Incorporate feedback and data for future improvement of training courses and materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS Degree with 5+ years instructional design experience required.
    Advanced knowledge and implementation of adult learning and performance improvement methodologies to create blended learning programs preferred.
  • Experience in developing high quality, revenue impacting blended curriculum: classroom, self-directed, virtual classroom, eLearning self-service modules.
  • SharePoint experience is preferred.
  • LMS experience preferred.
Software:
  • Microsoft Teams, Forms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • TechSmith Camtasia and Snag-it.
  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Bonus: Canva, workflow chart creation software (Gliffy, Visio, etc).
