Instructional Designer job

Futura Services is seeking 4-6 contract Instructional Designer/Developers for a Cerner/Soarian health system project starting in the next two weeks. In this role, you will be expected to develop eLearning system simulations in Adobe Captivate.

Duration: October 2022 – January 2023, with potential for extension

Work Hours: 20-40 hours per week, depending on preference

REMOTE work from HOME- anywhere in US

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to provide recent samples of system simulations created in Adobe Captivate.

Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in and/or lead Knowledge Transfer sessions with Subject Matter Experts to determine e-learning content.
• Using a recorded Knowledge Transfer session, create a script (storyboard) in Microsoft Word that includes audio scripting and system actions.
• Using the script, create system simulations in Adobe Captivate.
• Meet with Subject Matter Experts to review deliverables or answer questions.

Experience and Skills:

• Must be proficient in Adobe Captivate. Captivate action scripts/advanced actions knowledge a plus.
• 5+ years of Instructional Design experience in corporate or healthcare setting. At least 1 year of experience developing system simulations.
• Experience in storyboarding and script writing audio narration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate challenges.
• Able to work independently to produce quality eLearning system simulations.

• Detail-oriented and able to follow a process or template.
• Basic audio editing and Photoshop experience a plus.
• Experience with Cerner/Soarian a plus.
• Experience developing training for health systems a plus.

Contract Requirements:

• Portfolio of system simulation samples developed in Adobe Captivate.
• Client interview and Captivate assessment required.
• Must have your own copy/license of Adobe Captivate 2019.
