The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing and deploying custom eLearning and instructional materials for our call center employees. They will create content for internal and external employees using e-learning authoring tools, electronic media and web-based training (WBT). Deploys training via custom e-learning or virtual training.

Analyzes business requirements of the departments.

Works with leaders, trainers, subject matter experts to determine employees’ needs and interests Develops a variety of learning opportunities using blended training strategies.

Plans and schedules implementation and delivery of training programs for employees in a department setting or in classrooms at the Primerica Learning Center
-
Reviews and incorporates learning material in the Resource Center for employees’ use as part of their career development or skill improvement

Reviews and incorporates web-based training or eLearning programs in the overall design of continuing educational opportunities for employees

Refines, updates and/or modifies online content to include new techniques/approaches Updates and maintains instructional materials including manuals, PowerPoint presentations and web-based data associated or accompanying eLearning courses

Participate in monthly QA monitoring program of CSRs to help determine training needs

Monitor recorded calls and measure compliance with established quality guidelines

Utilize data to analyze and identify global trends and skill gaps as well as coaching opportunities; give recommendations to optimize customer satisfaction

Create and develop training materials to address gaps identified

Partnership with Department leaders

Consult with department leaders to assess, prioritize and determine learning needs and opportunities

Planning and Organizing eLearning Projects

Establish and plan out a development and rollout schedule

Provides clear and regular communications regarding scheduling, project requirements etc.

Protects the company’s authority to do business by complying with legal and ethical standards, policies and procedures Performs miscellaneous duties as required

College degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.

At least 3-5 years of experience designing and developing instruction, specifically 3 years of experience designing and developing eLearning.

Storyboarding, writing and developing content. Demonstrated proficiency in eLearning design based on the application of adult learning theories and strategies.

Must be Proficient with Articulate and Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint). Functional experience using or knowledge of the Adobe eLearning Suite (specifically Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop). Basic functional knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Reader, HTML, JavaScript, and other related programs.

Must have excellent organization, planning and time management skills with the ability to lead and drive multiple projects concurrently through completion.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should have knowledge of graphic design practices.
