The position is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance training programs, course curriculum, or other instructional materials or educational tools. Designs learning solutions targeted at employees, students, or clients of the organization. Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that content is accurate and thorough. Utilizes multiple formats, including print, audio, visual, and multimedia, and selects the appropriate format for the target audience or content. Evaluates the results of training programs and modified future programs to better meet training goals. This position reports to the SVP, Engineering Services.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content specific to Adult Learning.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify training needs for both internal and external audiences.
- Set instructional end goals and create content to match achieve those goals.
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.).
- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
- Maintain project documentation and course folders, including administration of the LMS.
- Develop and improve methodology for delivering information to internal and external audiences.
- Maintain a common look and feel for internal and external company presentations.
- Contribute to the maintenance of artifact repository for all training presentations.
- Support the Company with critical path projects.
- Support Management in cultivating revenue-generating opportunities.
- Take initiative to broaden and improve skills by participating in educational programs, seminars, etc.
- Perform research in support of training objectives.
- Ability to interact and train internal and external Associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
What will make you successful:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
- In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design/Educational Technology or similar relevant field.
- Proficient using eLearning software such as Adobe Capitvate, Canva, Camtasia, etc.
- Comfortable in a collaborative work environment, building strong and effective lines of communication with colleagues and subject matter experts.

- Senior Instructional Designer
Expected hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, depending on work demands and deadlines.
