Instructional Designer job

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented consultant with Instructional Design, eLearning Development, and Content Development/Editing skills to assist and support their Sr. Learning Consultant/Instructional Designer in content editing and creation for vILT and eLearning courses.

Role Tasks:

• Assist Sr. Instructional Designer with organizing and sequencing content.
• Proof-read, edit, and create content from existing training documents and information acquired from SMEs.
• Help to organize Dropbox
• Edit content and make basic functionality fixes in eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise (consultant must provide their own Articulate 360 license).

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Instructional Technologies, Education, or Organizational Development or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and current instructional design methodologies.
• 5+ years’ experience working in Learning and Development roles within large corporation(s).
• 3+ years’ experience performing as an Instructional Designer/Developer creating blended learning for large corporations.
• Must have strong editing and writing skills and experience.
• Must be proficient in Articulate 360 (must own license).
• Must be excellent at working independently.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, flexible, and deadline driven.
• Able to pick up fragmented work and put it together.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and in dynamic scenarios.

Start: Late- February.
Project Duration: 3 months with possible extension upon mutual interest.
Hours: 20 hours per week (mostly flexible working schedule).

Pay: The pay range for this role is $40 to $50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
