    We are in search of a creative and dynamic mid to senior level Corporate Instructional Designer who specializes in instructional design and organizational learning development. This role is an integral part of the Corporate Talent Management team based at our Wisconsin headquarters. Reporting directly to the Corporate Manager of Talent, you’ll be key in elevating employee engagement and workforce learning development across all our facilities nationwide. In this multifaceted role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams as well as local community subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement a diverse array of corporate training programs and initiatives to impact the lives of Brakebush citizens. These will span online, classroom, and blended learning formats and will be custom-tailored to meet the unique needs of our diverse workforce, whether they are working remotely or on-site.

    This position demands a people-first, collaborative approach and involves close coordination with various internal departments and stakeholders. Our ideal candidate brings proficient experience in organizational training, eLearning software, LMS administration, and instructional design. A strong commitment to human-centric design principles and effective use of technology is crucial for creating impactful learning solutions that elevate our teams in achieving both operational and human excellence. Exceptional presentation and organizational skills, coupled with a steadfast dedication to continuous learning, are essential for success in this role.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key organizational partners (both internal and external) to design targeted learning and development programs unique to our company environment. Regularly assesses professional development needs and work skills to create a dynamic training calendar; coordinates training logistics and builds a network of local, external educational resources.
    • Delivers learning and development content using various modalities; creates and/or curates’ content for course materials that are appropriate for both in-person and virtual audiences. Facilitates material presentation, discussion, and provides both team and individual coaching on essential skills.
    • Spearheads instructional/curricular design that is scalable across our facilities. Stays abreast of learning industry trends and advances in virtual delivery, including digital learning technologies; collaborates with HRIS Analyst to configure and maintain an LMS suitable for company learning and operational training needs. Assists with the administration of LMS content and end-user accessibility.
    • Tracks and measures program effectiveness through surveys, LMS data, interviews, focus groups, and communication with key partners/organizational leaders. Maintains records of all activities, attendance, pre-post testing, and program evaluations. Recommends the direction for learning and work skills initiatives.
    • Responsible for converting and integrating SCORM-compliant training content into the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless delivery and tracking of employee training modules.
    • Assists in the creation and development of various learning and e-learning programs and training experiences, to help Brakebush personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed for growth within the company.
    • Assists with the design of talent management marketing (both internal and external) and employee onboarding communications.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field -OR- equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, and delivery; ability to create and present clear, concise content on a variety of topics.
    • Proven experience in managing and deploying LMS content in large-scale environments, ideally supporting thousands of users, to ensure efficient and effective training delivery.
    • Strong communication and team-building skills; experience in building rapport with a variety of audiences.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe, Camtasia, or similar.
    • Tech-savvy, with a strong command of various Learning Management Systems, SCORM content, and other educational software; able to quickly adapt to new technologies for optimized learning solutions.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in instructional design within a large-scale corporate setting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Graphic design and video editing experience; particularly in designing visually engaging training materials using an array of creative design applications (Adobe, Canva, etc.).
    • E-Learning/front-end web developement experience
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Experience with distance learning across multiple facilities, including the use of video and podcasting.
    • Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user experience best practices is preferred.

    Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels.

    Physical Demands: This position will be primarily sitting in an office setting; some light lifting with in-person training.

    Position: This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with a blend of in-office and remote work. Some third-shift hours maybe required. Must live commutable to Westfield, WI.

    Travel: Travel required to accommodate learners in multiple locations, up to 25%. Travel to Wells, MN, Mocksville, NC or Irving, TX.
