Instructional Designer Job

Join our client’s dynamic Leadership Development team to address a critical gap within their High Potential (HiPo) program. We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer/Facilitator to equip Senior Managers for promotion to Directors and/or Senior Directors. The focus is on empowering them to navigate challenging conversations with peers, direct reports, and superiors in a professional and confident manner. This initiative aims to enhance the leadership skills of 20 Senior Managers.

Start Date: February 5, 2024
Project Duration: Completion by mid-March, with facilitation scheduled for mid-March
Weekly Hours and Flexibility: Flexible
Location: Virtual for development; Onsite facilitation in Frisco, TX (outside of Dallas)

Experience Requirements:

• Senior Learning and Development experience, comfortable creating content for professionals with 10-30 years of experience.
• Expertise in Leadership Development with a track record of designing programs for upper management.
• Proven experience in crafting engaging workshops tailored to the needs of senior leaders.
• Utilize Articulate 360 for any eLearning components (consultant provides their own licenses and laptop).

Deliverables:

• Workshop delivery (1-2 days, flexible format, ideally in one weekly chunk).
• Potential inclusion of eLearning components, takeaways, etc.
• Incorporation of real-world examples that are practical and free of unnecessary fluff.
• Number of Courses or Modules, Length, and Interactivity:
• Workshop format may vary (1-2 days) to accommodate different proposals.
• Incorporate interactive elements such as use-case scenarios, scenario-based training, role-play, and breakout groups.
• Emphasize real-world examples to provide practical insights.

The pay range for this project is $70.00 to $90.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
