We are looking for an individual who is forward-thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.The Instructional Designer supports Amplifon Americas in the design and delivery of training solutions to both internal and external audiences. In this role, you will analyze, develop, execute, and manage learning programs. This position will support business strategies, foster leadership success, and drive change in the employee and patient experience. The Instructional Designer will collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts. Adult learning principles and development best practices, along with innovative delivery methods will be utilized for all training programs and educational solutions. Responsibilities Curriculum and Content Development

    • Applies knowledge of adult learning principles and development best practices to perform needs analyses, design, create, and facilitate training and development programs.
    • Identifies required curriculum for program participants, assesses learning needs through data and real-life execution, and develops appropriate training solutions across a variety of subject areas including, but not limited to;
    • Clinical protocols
    • Systems and processes
    • Soft skills and customer service
    • Determines and utilizes the most effective training methods such as classroom, demonstrations, on-the-job training, eLearning modules, web tutorials, documentation and manuals, and workshops.
    • Develops assessments and metrics to effectively evaluate the retention and application of learning.
    • Applies big picture thinking to provide scalability, consistency, and cross functional application of training content and programs.
    • Consults and collaborates on new processes and tools and prioritizes learning and mastery of various delivery platforms including LMS.
    • Manages concurrent training projects to successful completion.

    Facilitation and Training

    • Facilitates in a variety of settings and trains, often highly technical concepts, to adults with a broad array of backgrounds.
    • Works effectively and adaptively with a diverse professional audience that can include dispensers, audiologists, and otolaryngologists.
    • Builds trust and credibility with partners and colleagues through regular interaction which is evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships, as well as initiative and business outcomes.
    • Communicates and collaborates with team members, leadership, and business units to ensure needs are met.
    • Demonstrates leadership in classroom sessions with time management, addressing coaching challenges (behavioral, over-achievers, low performers), and completion of program delivery.
    • Supports continuing education trainings and requests in partnership with the CEU Coordinator.

    Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience designing and developing comprehensive multi-modal training programs and measuring impact and adoption
    • Experience facilitating, training, and coaching (preferred)
    • Expertise in PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, Rise, Filmora, GoAnimate, MS Word, and Excel
    • Familiarity with LMS administration and webinar production
    • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years’ experience in the healthcare field (preferred)

    Required Proficiencies:

    • Create training modules, materials, and supporting documents using PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, Rise, Filmora, GoAnimate, MS Word, and other software or authoring tools
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that resonate with a wide range of audiences
    • Project management skills with the ability to lead and gather information from cross-functional teams
    • Comfortable and confident at facilitating in-person or virtual training sessions
    • Highly organized, consistently positive, and self-directed and manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain development and training standards while adapting to changing priorities and evolving organizational needs

    Physical/Mental Demands:

    • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time depending on training and organizational needs
