    As an Instructional Designer, you will create instructional content that supports the Sales business. You are a professional instructional designer who has demonstrated the ability to produce training content focused on customer experience and sales, ideally in the automotive service industry. You will plan and execute projects; evaluate project performance and quality; and be accountable for the success of training curricula for Advisors and Managers on the Sales and Delivery teams. You will work with the analysis team, subject matter experts, and training managers to determine training needs and design solutions. You will be expected to create, manage, and support evaluation of all training courses and curricula within the scope of the role.

    What You’ll Do

    • Design and develop engaging, innovative, and effective instructor-led and eLearning training curricula and courses that: are completed in accordance with project plans, are instructionally-sound, applying research based adult learning theories, are grammatically correct, are consistent with approved style guides, meet customer expectations, and communicate complex learning concepts clearly and effectively
    • Capture requirements, build training designs, develop content, deploy content, and evaluate results
    • Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders to plan and scope requirements for curricula
    • Partner with eLearning developers and multimedia specialists to publish interactive online courses
    • Develop instructor led trainings, self-paced eLearnings, assessments, and blended classroom and virtual experiences.
    • Champion the ADDIE process, work effectively in a cross functional environment, and align with standard operating procedures across training team

    What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or equivalent experience
    • A minimum of two years as an instructional designer producing online and instructor lead training materials
    • High proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced experience in PowerPoint and SharePoint required
    • Experience with learning and content management systems and platforms including Articulate Storyline and Rise preferred
    • Deep understanding of adult learning theory and application
    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills with ability to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical training concepts
    • Proven time management, organizational skills, project planning, assessment, and providing feedback
