    The Instructional Designer creates and delivers employee-based training curriculum that is focused on a variety of topics including but not limited to onboarding, professional skills, leadership skills, functional/technical skills, systems training, process training and safety/compliance training. On occasion, may be asked to support our Business Groups with product or skills training for their distribution partners. Candidate must have experience preparing content for a variety of delivery options including in-person, virtual, online self-directed. Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills and communication skills and work well independently and collaboratively.

    Service: The Instructional Designer is responsible for design and development of online courses. Responsibilities include; work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging and effective interactive learning products, develop training using Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate, use design principles, and create media to use in online courses. This person will mainly focus on e-Learning Development but will coordinate closely with the LMS Administrator and will help with selected duties like uploading and testing courses in the LMS and supporting customers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Corporate Training Only:
    Attend meetings, gather specifications, and ask questions to understand and apply all requirements for deliverables.
    Work with subject matter experts, at various levels of the organization, to obtain objectives, content, and agreement with maximum efficiency and professionalism
    Design and develop training materials using blended, adult learning principles/ methodologies, and established team standards and best practices.
    Key classroom curriculum consists of fully illustrated visual presentations, learner’s guides, job aids, role-play exercises and handouts.
    Online curriculum development includes preparing content for audio recording and editing, creating visual elements and supporting the development team by working with authoring software such as Adobe eLearning Suite as needed.
    Manage and maintain curriculum, materials and process documentation as needed or requested.
    Oversee training program implementation and execution.
    Other responsibilities may include presenting curriculum to employees in a classroom or virtual setting.

    Service Only:
    Develop content outlines, storyboards, and scripts for self-paced e-learning modules.
    Visually organize content for learning purposes using materials gathered from subject matter experts
    Create and edit audio and video collateral.
    Convert existing ILTs into web-based courses. Create and edit audio and video collateral.
    Collaborate with the LMS Content Manager to upload, test, and maintain content to the LMS.
    Other Duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree
    5 years of instructional design/development/delivery experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Corporate Training:
    Experience working in a corporate environment;
    Previous experience with SAP or equivalent ERP.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Familiarity with adult learning principles;
    Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office software
    Knowledge of authoring software such as Adobe eLearning Suite or similar;
