Accountable for solution evaluation and early-phase project creation including the development of learning outlines, recommended solutions, and instructional design of learning deliverables. Will be a thought leader and consult with internal and external stakeholders on providing learning solutions to meet business needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Instructional Design: Design and develop instructional design documentation and analysis for learning projects, including consulting with customers and internal development contacts on proposed learning solutions and integration into existing learning plans, paths, and curricula. This may include analysis of audience, training requirements, currently available training, as well as business and regulatory needs.
  • Content Writing/Documentation: Write effective copy, instructional texts, media scripts, and development documentation.
  • Special Projects and Coordination: Responsible for tracking internal and external interactions, mapping key timelines, and participating in meetings, calls, and key communications. Provide leadership or guidance on learning in large scale special projects to other teams.
  • Learning Development: Partner in the consistent design, development, implementation, and assessment of learning solutions.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8 years of learning and development instructional design.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or certifications in learning & development, instructional design, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools including Microsoft Office suite, eLearning authoring tools, and Learning Management Systems.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory and how to apply these to traditional and new learning modalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in content writing, ability to map objectives with learning content, and completing full instructional design analysis and associated deliverable documentation.
  • Experience in designing and providing recommendations on full training programs with multiple modalities including Instructor Led, virtual training, eLearning, podcasting, video solutions, and other interactive media.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $77,000 to $109,666 per year
