The Wealth Management Business Development & Field Training organization supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network. The Business Development & Field Training organization is seeking an Instructional Designer who will be responsible for analyzing needs, creating, and evaluating the impact of learning for branch employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently develop and design custom learning deliverables (including but not limited to videos, e-learning courses, online reference materials, infographics, instructor led training, etc.) using Adobe Captivate, Adobe After Effects and Articulate Storyline among other tools.
Create vector-based icons and images.
Work with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technology deliverables through the learning spectrum – information, acknowledgement, buy in, all the way to adoption.
Develop content within a Content Management System.
Load and test courses in the Learning Management System.
Use Firm established templates to develop innovative, exciting, and engaging content.
Document workflow processes end to end for on the job performance support.
Establish, maintain, and support strong working relationships with all branch employee and Product Team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills Required:
3+ years in financial services setting.
8+ years in instructional design or creative services role.
2+ years of project/program management.
Possess exemplary communication, presentation, organizational and time-management skills.
Manage multiple projects with tight sometimes competing timelines.
Demonstrate accountability, a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail to promote confidence and trust in their work.
Advanced knowledge of learning experience design, ideally in a highly regulated market.
Intermediate to advanced experience with adult learning theories and the instructional design process.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud components.
Intermediate knowledge of Articulate.
Intermediate video and audio editing.
Basic knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and JSP.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript to write custom eLearning reporting and advanced actions.
Sound understanding of SCORM packaging.
Be authorized to work in the U.S. without durational restrictions.
Successfully complete background check and pre-employment assessments.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 (or equivalent) considered a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Communications, Marketing or Training related degree.
