This is a primarily remote-based position supporting a hospital-based violence intervention program (HVIP) which serves victims and survivors of community/intentional violence. Candidate must be willing and able to be on-site to work with VRP leadership to create or edit curriculum content as requested. This is a specialist coordinator level position centered on instructional and service delivery design. This is a salaried grant funded position.
Essential Job Duties:
- Organizing the training materials and adapting the material for dissemination for the pilot and non-pilot HVIP trainees.
- Coordinating our internal HVIP Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) committee to begin preparation, planning, and delivery of the training.
- Administering software to create a user-friendly manual and presentation materials.
- Create and maintain service delivery content to support training across programs and institutions.
- Design and implement instructional programs centered on digestible yet comprehensive and interactive content.
- May be asked to manage various timelines related to content creation and delivery.
- Attending on-boarding of new staff and on-going training as requested to create and enhance VRP training materials.
- Develop content in various formats, including but not limited to, online (eLearning and recordings) instructor-led courses (in-person, remote or hybrid), workflow procedures and reference guides for administrative and direct service staff.
- Meaningfully collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and thorough.
- Stay abreast of current technology for content delivery.
- Review and edit VRP policies and workflows periodically and as needed.
- Support execution of special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with at least ONE year of relevant experience with online learning systems—including participant enrollment, auditing, and curriculum implementation. Master’s degree is preferred with one year experience of with education/training development and implementation.
Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in related roles; internship/volunteer experience will be considered.
- Passion for and dedication to working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, PowerPoint) and communications technology (email, zoom, teams, etc.);
- Significant experience in developing professional-level presentations and content decks using current platforms PowerPoint Prezi)
- Proactive learner that is comfortable working across teams
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to successfully express ideas clearly and concisely
- Comfortability with changing work tasks due to the dynamic nature of the environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision most of the time.

- Ability to maintain strong collaborative relationships within the department and across programs.
