We are searching for an Associate Director of Instructional Design to join our Client Learning & Talent Enablement Practice and be responsible for leading the development and delivery of commercial and internal Client Learning & Talent Enablement programs. This practice helps clients realize digital and IT transformation by identifying and bridging gaps in employee knowledge, behaviors, and mindset. The team designs, develops, and implements a variety of solutions for online and in-person learning—including videos, articles, podcasts, interactive eLearning, coaching, experiential learning, instructor-led training, and assessments—using the latest insights from the learning sciences. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple, complex project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, project managers, and technical resources, to coordinate effective project delivery
  • Oversee the development of instructional design resources and deliverables, including storyboards, graphics, competency matrices, growth plans, authentic assessments, and instructor-led workshops
  • Build collaborative working relationships with clients, keep clients updated on project progress, mitigate issues and risks, and consult clients on methodologies, solution development, and delivery plans
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and objectives
  • Plan and conduct discovery activities to identify client and learner needs and opportunities
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging, effective learning programs and resources that meet the needs of diverse audiences. Methodologies include but are not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of learning and enablement programs to measure effectiveness and impact
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and support to help them grow in their roles
  • Manage the performance of instructional designers and senior instructional designers within the Client Learning & Talent Enablement Practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in instructional design and/or talent enablement with a focus on delivery management
  • Proven experience with client management, business analysis and alignment, and complex program management in a commercial environment
  • Understanding of business, technology, and industry trends
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Expert knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with eLearning authoring tools, learning management systems, and other learning technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with advanced capabilities in developing solutions for non-standard tasks and client requests
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible mindset and agile approach to deliverables with the ability to adapt your style to engage with different audiences
