    Our Education and Training team plays a crucial role in equipping our customers, distributors, and employees with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their roles. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Instructional Design and Delivery to join our Education and Training team at Xylem Americas. The Manager, Instructional Design and Delivery, will play a pivotal role in leading a team of instructional designers who are responsible for creating and deploying training content . This content will be used in various formats, including classroom-led training, interactive eLearning modules, and on-demand video content.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Instructional Designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment for content creation.
    • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the Technical Training Delivery Team’s needs and organizational goals.
    • Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality training materials, including but not limited to instructional modules, eLearning courses, video content, and training guides.
    • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation.
    • Assessment and Evaluation: Implement assessment and evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training content and make continuous improvements.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts and other cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback, ensuring that training content meets the needs of the audience.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
    • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, eLearning authoring tools, multimedia content development, and learning management systems.
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with the water technology industry and/or a technical background is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of compliance and safety standards in training content development is a plus.

    SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
