Compensation Range: $88,000-$115,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant’s work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

The primary focus of this position is to support the EnerSys Global Academy by managing projects, designing and developing training solutions, and staff development. The Global Learning Design Manager will be the lead contact across multiple functional areas and will ensure proper documentation and tracking of all training activities produced by the group. The Manager of Global Learning Design also supports other training projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages staff of training developers. Provides guidance, training and motivation to develop staff. Analyze team performance, identify trends, and manage cross-collaboration of the team to ensure quality at every step.
  • Manage and coordinate the New Training Request Process for the Global Academy Team.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts, development, and instructional design teams to formulate objectives and understand requirements of projects.
  • Work within the Global Training team to scope projects and determine project cost, size, timeline and the human resources required (internal and/or external).
  • Manage timeline and human resources to meet production targets.
  • Monitor production of e-learning projects to resolve issues and to track quality standards of production.
  • Mentor and coach course development and instructional design team employees and facilitate career and interpersonal development. Develop and rigorously apply global standards. Collaborate with key stakeholders, on a global basis, to support curriculum for the Global EnerSys Academy.
  • Coordinate all existing self-paced training and content in Americas, Asia and EMEA – Compliance Training, Skills Training, Job Specific Training and Personal Development Training.
  • Design, develop, implement, conduct and evaluate instructor led training events.
  • Design/develop self-paced training and courses, course outlines, job aids, and other training materials.
  • Manage and coordinate a leadership training program for high-performing, high-potential employees.
  • Evaluate training and make improvements.
  • Provide support and help to LMS conversion project, and ongoing maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in any discipline with previous experience in training and development.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office 365. Knowledge of HRIS systems highly desirable, but not required.
  • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in eLearning design and development.
  • Experience with coding and development, eLearning tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Venngage, Camtasia, etc.), LMS and learning platforms.
  • Knowledge of human resources policies and processes.
  • Understanding of risk, data governance, and audit requirements.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong Instructional Design background and solid platform delivery skills.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 30% (International)
