    Information & Knowledge Services is currently looking for an Experienced Instructional Systems Designer to join our team in Englewood, CO or Seattle, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Digital Solutions & Analytics portfolio of products and services by analyzing, and designing, and developing effective and engaging training programs for internal users to use our suite of software and data production tools.

You enjoy working with a diverse global team and collaborating with customers, stakeholders and engagement partners to ensure specific learner training needs are met. You are adaptable and can manage multiple programs and/or projects in a fast-paced Agile software development environment where you display your passion for solving problems while being resourceful. Quality is engrained in everything you develop and deliver. You have a proven track record of strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, which drives cross-functional teams toward shared goals. You have a deep understanding of design thinking, instructional methodologies, and have empathy for your learners.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a Learner Experience/Instructional Designer on projects as assigned with minimal or no guidance
    • Work with end-users, internal teams, and cross-functional teams to collaboratively analyze, design, develop, and deliver training initiatives to develop applicable learning modalities to meet the specific learner needs
    • Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to scope learning opportunities that will push the business forward and help our customers adopt and continually learn complex solutions to help them achieve success in their day-to-day jobs
    • Design and develop cutting edge learning experiences that meet learner needs and are scalable to accommodate different geographies, environments, and audiences
    • Focus on both content (ID approach) and user experience (UX approach)
    • Stepping outside of the traditional learning design box and take risks in order to further engage learners

     

    This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 4+ years of Learner Experience Design/Instructional Design, including analysis, design, and evaluation of complex technical learning solutions in a Scaled Agile software environment.
    • 4+ years developing and implementing blended learning solutions such as ILT, VLT, video, eLearning, documentation (i.e. Articulate, Captivate, Web Help), etc.
    • 4+ years developing training programs/projects to create innovative training solutions
    • 2+ years of Learner Experience/Instructional Design developing data/software training for a global audience

     

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
    • Experience developing training for a global audience

     

    Typical Education/ Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an

    equivalent combination of education and experience

    Summary pay range: 75,650 – 109,250
