Responsibilities:

Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as an eLearning Specialist with Eide Bailly might include the following:
  • Designing and/or delivering training throughout the Firm using a variety of learning formats and tools (e.g., on-line, webcast, self-study, blended learning).
  • Consulting with subject matter experts to develop effective online learning resources that allow you to apply principles of adult learning.
  • Recommending formal and/or informal training solutions that meet staff and business needs.
  • Translating technical documentation for end-user consumption & communicating complex information in easy-to-understand languages.
  • Designing and writing effective online scripting and interactions.
  • Designing and developing training processes and materials to drive Firm processes.
  • Staying up to date on frequent software upgrades and identifies changes that need to be communicated to staff.
  • Researching new and current applications used in adult learning & online learning development.
  • Assisting with department administration including Training & Development quality control, measuring results and continuous professional education (CPE) documentation

Qualifications:

Who You Are
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally – interacting with staff at all levels.
  • You have specialized knowledge in learning using technology and knowledge in multiple software applications.
  • You have previous experience in eLearning design and/or technical writing.
  • You’re a creative mind with conceptual development skills in addition to having the ability to convert complex information into easily used and understandable text and illustrations.
  • Communication is one of your many strengths! Written and verbal communication skills, including soft skills and presentation skills.
  • Multi-tasking comes natural to you. You can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines using project management and organization skills.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Adult Education or a related field.
  • You have 2-4 years of previous experience in a professional environment, training adults in multiple software applications, preferred.
  • You have prior experience working with Articulate, Captivate, CodeBaby, Story Line and webcasting platforms preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
