Responsible for the production and delivery of online educational content. Works closely with subject matter experts to revise and develop training content and job aids to be delivered through a learning management system. Some instructor-led training may be required. The individual must be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. Must be willing to travel between facilities. Some evening classes may be required.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, deploys, and manages e-learning content and multimedia based on business needs.
- Develops objectives and ensures content matches those objectives
- Works with Subject Matter Experts to assist with the development of content, sequencing of the content, and other learning activities within the learning management system.
- Ensures curriculum is up to date and relevant to the career skills required for the program/course. Assists with revisions as needed.
- Designs elearning course surveys and tracks satisfaction and post-test proficiency.
- Provides reports to management on on-line usage and training completions.
- Assists in the planning and coordinating of on-boarding activities to ensure new employees receive information needed to be successful in their new job.
- Serves as a back-up LMS Administrator.
- Maintains the OD page on Sharepoint.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Education & Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree (instructional design, curriculum development, adult/ health education, or organizational development) and at least one (1) year of teaching experience required. e-learning experience preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of instructional staff across core subject areas. Good organizational skills, creative ability and attention to detail. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with HTML5, Storyline, Articulate, Captivate, or other eLearning software a plus.
