    The eLearning specialist is responsible for designing and delivering quality and engaging learning experiences for TrueCommerce customers, partners, and employees. This position will assume responsibility for multiple aspects of learning development such as managing a content roadmap, designing and building training content for a variety of audiences, and ensuring our practice remains innovative. To be successful you should be a self-starter who is able to work independently and drive multiple projects and initiatives forward with minimal guidance. The eLearning Specialist needs to be passionate and enthusiastic about eLearning, and capable of handling multiple training demands for employees and customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage eLearning Roadmap
    • Organize, prioritize, and communicate a roadmap and plan for eLearning content in assigned areas.
    • Engage key stakeholders, both internal (i.e. employees) and external (i.e. customers, partners) in both ad hoc and in structured fashion to aide in developing and maintaining a roadmap.
    • Identify opportunities for new content as well as improvements to existing content.
    • Manage the eLearning roadmap by developing and documenting measurable objectives and realistic timelines.
    • Develop reports to assist with planning and managing the company’s training and development initiatives.
    • Develop and Release eLearning Content
    • Gather information and course elements from members, internal departments, SMEs (subject matter experts), research institutions, and others.
    • Develop and design learning material, coordinate, and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
    • Select and implement appropriate media for delivery (elearning, virtual, blended, tutorials, courses, articles, etc.) to ensure that training provides the best possible outcome for the learner(s).
    • Ensure that all eLearning materials are consistent, professional, up-to-date, relevant, and visually appealing to learners to promote the best possible training outcomes.
    • Responsible for performing QA testing on eLearning materials.
    • Maintain adequate tooling, standards, and methodology
    • Design and collaborate on a common eLearning methodology that meets the needs of our global company.
    • Select appropriate media for delivery (eLearning, virtual, blended) to ensure that training provides the best possible outcome for the learner(s).
    • Consistently evaluate current tooling, standards, and methodology to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers and keeping up with industry standards.
    • Develop and maintain a mechanism to gather feedback and ideas.
    • Develop and Deliver eLearning Content for Internal Learners
    • As requested, assist with developing and creating eLearning content for internal departments to facilitate training for both new hires as well as continuous education.
    • Assist departments with developing training materials and placing them on our learning platforms.
    • Assist with creating training programs to promote continuous learning across the organization.

    Experience and Skills:

    • 5+ years of experience in training customers and/or employees on software solutions.
    • 3+ years of experience in delivering training across multiple platforms such as classroom, webinars and remote sessions.
    • 3+ years of experience with eLearning development such as videos, tutorials, LMS content, etc.
    • Demonstrated skills using software such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Snagit, Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, and/or other eLearning software packages.
    • Ability to quickly learn and master new and emerging eLearning technologies and techniques.
    • Ability to meet timelines for deliverables, with accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with learners at various levels including management, peers, and various customer stakeholders.
    • Passionate about eLearning and stays involved in eLearning industry to improve current eLearning programs.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, a self-starter with demonstrated success handling multiple simultaneous projects through successful completion.
    • Understanding of publishing content for LMS (SCORM) preferred
