    Job Summary:

    The eLearning Instructional Designer is responsible for design and delivery of training that aligns to global initiatives throughout the Americas for E-learning, blended, and virtual training; maintaining records of all training, conducting training needs analysis, auditing and evaluating training. They are responsible for project management and vendor management as it relates to talent development. The eLearning Instructional Designer will design and deliver training programs in cooperation with the business and with global entities to address gaps and will establish methods to measure the effectiveness of these programs. The ideal candidate will require a strong understanding of adult learning theory, ADDIE model, learner retention and application, as well as demonstrate graphic, layout, and instructional design skills to build eLearning/blended course modules that are engaging, fun, and memorable.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Function as LMS administrator for our global LMS
    • Understand competency mapping within an LMS for professional development plans
    • Instruct new leaders on use of the LMS; setting up private dashboards, team assignments, etc
    • Research and create microlearnings, blended learning programs, and interactive eLearning
    • Ensure that all compliance trainings are uploaded, assigned, and reported as required
    • Analyze data to formulate reporting criteria and author reports at both a micro and macro level
    • Provide software support, manage catalogs, courses, certifications, learning paths and plans effectively and accurately for in person, virtual, and blended training programs
    • Ensure effective administration of training processes and policies
    • Lead the transition from Adobe Learning Manager to Success Factors LMS ensuring that content and assignments transition properly, maintaining learning paths. Collaborate, educate and inform the Global transition team of parameters, requirements, and specific functional needs to ensure successful launch
    • Provide outstanding service and support to internal customers at all levels of the organization. Take initiative to ensure work is done accurately and completely
    • Evaluate and assess system issues with Learning and Development software, such as the LMS and identify root cause to resolution
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business goals, industry landscape, existing training, target audiences, and lean manufacturing principles to assist departments in defining training requirements and determining timelines
    • Design, implement, and drive continuous improvement of end-to-end learning processes
    • Evaluate training programs and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
    • Ensure all training courses are aligned with our Korn Ferry competencies and our strategy
    • Ensure learning initiatives are constructed to produce the desired changes in behavior, attitude, knowledge, and skills needed to make real business impact
    • Collect and analyze program data to evaluate training effectiveness; identify problem areas and make recommendations for improvements
    • Problem solving LMS access and upload issues
    • Apply expertise designing programs and curricula for global audiences working with virtual teams in a large matrix organization to ensure multi-language translation and cross-cultural adaptation
    • Develop and maintain performance measures: criterion-referenced achievement tests, questionnaires, interviews, and simulation scenarios
    • Utilize sound instructional design methodologies to create complex (e.g., guided discovery, case method, problem-based, game-based, competency-based approaches), high-quality and innovative (formal, informal, blended) instructional materials and learning solutions
    • Select and use appropriate techniques to define and sequence instructional content
    • Collaborate with global teams and SMEs on course design, development, and delivery
    • Create and maintain learning needs analysis, design documents, storyboards, video scripts, project plans, and other artifacts for various training projects
    • Apply project management principles to deliver results on time, on budget, and within scope
    • Develop and maintain standards and SOPs for the training team
    • Resolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems, with more complex issues being escalated appropriately
    • Compile and publish training metrics
    • Update and maintain Learning and Development Intranet site and validate all connections to global and other links
    • Perform other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Four year degree in digital technology, graphics design, training, or related field
    • Minimum of 6 years of progressively more responsible experience using applications such as LMS, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams), database software, Adobe software, Camtasia, Audition, Articulate 360, or SharePoint, PowerBI, or the equivalent
    • 3 years of demonstrated experience in instructional design and/or eLearning course development and graphic/layout design
    • Experience with audio/video editing
    • Must be able to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information
    • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Demonstrated exceptional written, verbal, critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
    • Experience designing interactive course content in Articulate Rise/Storyline or a similar software
    • Demonstrated strong organizational, prioritization, time management skills, and attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability in instructional design and adult learning theory
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
    • Team player with excellent project management skills and the ability to follow through to completion
    • Able to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
