- Collaborates with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture project specific educational content using storyboards and/or scripts.
- Develops eLearning courses using authorware like Adobe Captivate or Articulate; edits graphics, audio, and video as needed.
- Contributes to and adheres to the branding and style guidelines of the organization; works with established templates.
- Applies communications and design best practices and standards in order to deliver impactful and visually appealing content.
- Modifies existing eLearning courses to reflect updates and meet evolving learning needs.
- Adheres to e-Learning development standards and communication protocols; e.g., SCORM, AICC in support of successful publishing into SumTotal LMS or web environment.
- Conducts QA testing for eLearning courses and resolves issues related to delivery of content on LMS, web platforms or mobile devices.
- Effectively manages and prioritizes day-to-day activities and tracks project progress, identifies potential issues, and captures lessons learned along the way.
- Creates and maintains a library/database of resources including but not limited to content assets e.g., video, images and learning resources; e.g., self-help instructions, technical and functional requirements, process/project documentations.
- Keeps current with latest content development technologies and tools as well as eLearning best practices and trends.

Education:
- Bachelor or Art or Bachelor of Science in Education, Instructional Design, Training and Development, Instructional Technology, or a related field or at least four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Certifications:
- None required.

Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing eLearning courses for professional adult learners.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience preferred.
- Experience working and editing video, graphics and illustrations.
- Understanding of ADDIE and SAM models and practices.
- High proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
- High proficiency with Adobe Captivate and Articulate including editing graphics and illustrations using Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional strategies for eLearning course development.

As an eLearning Instructional Designer, you will:
- Collaborate with the Learning Technologies team and other stakeholders to develop engaging, interactive, and effective eLearning courses that will be available via various systems (e.g., the Learning Management System [LMS], COMET, etc.), web platforms or on mobile devices.
- Use a variety of software applications to produce high-quality eLearning courses which may include photographs, illustrations, audio, custom animations, and custom interactivity.
- Support and work with the Learning Technologies team to complete eLearning project queue requests.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $25.13
Maximum hourly: $38.33
