Sun river Health is currently seeking a full-time temporary remote eLearning Developer.

    *Must reside in either NY, CT, or NJ*

    *Travel may be required to our sites within Hudson Valley, Long Island, or NYC. *

    The E-Learning Developer will assist with the creation of Learning content, modules, and solutions for Learning Management System (LMS). This role will work close with E-Learning Manager to develop learning content that align with Organizations priorities in accordance with the mission and values. The E-Learning Developer will design, develop, deliver, and evolve programs necessary to ensure all employees are developing capability to support the organization’s strategy. This is a role for a motivated, results-oriented individual who will ensure we are developing the skills and capabilities of our people to support the growth and evolution of our fast-growing organization.

    • Confers with E-Learning Manager to identify and anticipate learning needs of front-line staff, mid-management, and senior leaders.
    • Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods for Departmental trainings and creates, implements and facilitates via in person or web-based, legally mandated trainings to new hires and current employees.
    • Serves as administrator to organization’s online learning platform.
    • Module Creation/Training Plan Creation
    • Develops training policies, programs, and calendars, based on identified training needs, or changes in products, policies, procedures or services.
    • Organizes and develops training manuals, reference materials, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
    • Plans and coordinates seminars for staff development including setting up virtual classrooms.
    • Communicates effectively with Administration, Department Heads, and supervisory staff, both verbally and in writing.
    • Functions as resource person to all departments.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • 5-8 years of experience in adult education and administering progressive learning and development curriculum.
    • Minimum Associates degree in a related discipline from an accredited educational institution.
    • Experience working in a healthcare, social services or related field preferred.
    • Work experience developing and delivering mandatory leadership and professional development programs to a variety of audiences in a classroom and virtual setting.
    • Ability to work well with minimal supervision and senior leaders in a fast paced, high growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with audio visual classroom aides.
    • Strong Public Speaker; ability to engage large groups and generate interest in the subject matter
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite programs; especially PowerPoint
    • Experience working with the Relias Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent system

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $29.58 – $36.98 per hour
