JOB OBJECTIVE: Create, update, validate, and publish eLearning using the Articulate 360 suite of eLearning authoring tools in collaboration with Scientific Training and Sales Development instructional designers.

We partner with colleagues from a variety of teams to create and implement our training programs. Our training solutions cover the spectrum of formats from online, asynchronous courses to highly interactive onsite classroom trainings, including hands-on experiences with Promega products and technologies.

YOUR ROLE:
We are seeking experienced eLearning Developers to support our corporate online course program. This role requires significant collaboration and ongoing communication with instructional designers.

This role is a project-based contract, remote position. Contract work will be performed on a project basis with an initial 2-3 projects within 4-6 months. Additional projects are expected through 2023.

Turnaround from project initiation through to completion averages 2-4 weeks with 10-30 hours of work per week.

CORE DUTIES:

1. Develop and implement eLearning, advanced interactions, and new features for our online courses using storyboards, assets, and Articulate Storyline Team slides with common layouts, interactions, and assessments.

2. Work closely with Instructional Designers through the development process to translate the design into the final eLearning product.

3. Regular communication with Instructional Designers on project status.

4. Serve as escalated support and resource for Instructional Designers who are building courses using eLearning authoring tools.

5. Maintain confidentiality for training records and correspondence.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 3+ years of eLearning development experience.

2. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Articulate 360 suite of eLearning authoring tools.

3. Intermediate understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS and Accessibility Standards.

4. Understanding of eLearning standards, including SCORM and xAPI.

5. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

7. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to use computers, tablets, mobile devices, and A/V equipment, for extended periods of time.
