    Under the direction of the Manager of eLearning Coaching, and in collaboration with the eLearning Coaches, the incumbent for this position will provide in-course coaching to eLearn-facilitated courses, with a focus on retention and completion initiatives in the FlexPace program. Duties include corresponding regularly and frequently with students on assigned classlists to facilitate regular progress and on-time completion; all significant correspondence will be documented in SSP. The eLearning Coach will also work on scaling and refining existing coaching models, through semesterly outcomes reporting, data collection, and faculty collaboration. Examples of special projects may include but are not limited to: divisional collaborative projects that support improving the student experience in the eLearn classroom, facilitating trainings and presentations, program improvement initiatives, and course delivery and design support.

    After sufficient training, this position is eligible to work remotely at the discretion of the supervisor.

    Principal Accountabilities
    Work with eLearning Coaches and faculty partners to develop, deliver and revise culturally-responsive communication plans, classroom interventions, and delivery of resources and services to facilitate on time progress and completion for students in FlexPace courses. Maintain overall success rates that are consistent with other Sinclair learning modalities. Document interactions in SSP.
    • Maintain expertise in using data dashboards and LMS data to monitor learner behaviors as predictive measures of success.
    • Build expertise in eLearn LMS and evaluate the eLearn student experience to identify bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Make recommendations for, and implement improvements to course supports, course design, and course delivery inside and outside of the eLearn LMS.
    • Create and deliver student surveys, focus groups, and/or other student-facing feedback mechanisms to improve the student experience. Develop a pool of “rockstar students” that may be called upon for marketing and feedback needs.
    • Work with eLearning staff and others to identify and complete special projects in eLearning as needed.
    • Collaborate with eLearning division staff and faculty partners to create and deliver trainings, best practices, and other resources via eLearn, the CTL and other avenues.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Minimum of two years in education or similar field required.
    • Direct experience working with students required.
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems preferred.
    • Experience with Data Analytics tools and/or student outcomes reporting preferred.
    • Must demonstrate resourcefulness in problem solving.
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new applications.
    • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills and ability to speak effectively to diverse audiences including administrators, faculty, and students.
    • Must work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with frequent interruptions, providing customer service and managing multiple concurrent assignments as required.
    • Must demonstrate strong organization and time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and produce accurate work on time and under pressure.
