    Our Position

    The Manager of eLearning and Development is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that support the Recovery Educators team. The Manager of eLearning and Development will manage the organization’s learning needs, including, but not limited to, media design, ADDIE-compliant modalities, competencies review and creation of class objectives that meet national CEU requirements as outlined by nationally recognized CEU accreditation providers, and audit/report on course progression and compliance.

    Your Responsibilities

     

    • Designs, develops, and delivers training material to meet a recovery and learning-centered focus. The primary duty will be to serve as Instructional Designer and support the Recovery Educators in completing the development of their courses for online presentation – including, but not limited to, media design, ADDIE-compliant modalities, competencies review and creation of class objectives that meet national CEU requirements as outlined by nationally recognized CEU accreditation providers.
    • Manage the CNA Development team of eLearning designers, curriculum writers and subject matter experts.
    • Conducts regular needs analysis to meet the ongoing educational requirements for the program as needed.
    • Incorporate instructional design best practices and evaluate the effectiveness of training materials; utilize data to make informed decisions about course design and program direction.
    • Builds and maintains professional relationships inside and outside the organization to support, promote and deliver all educational objectives and software/hardware needs.
    • Responsible for identifying, implementing, and maintaining website, learning management system, training management system, customer relations manager and all software used by the Crisis Now Academy to create and deliver trainings and webinars, synchronous and asynchronous.
    • Implements evaluation tools regularly and tracks progress towards goals. Continually adjust training content according to evaluation feedback.
    • Manages the day-to-day financial activities of the eLearning development contracts as applicable.
    • Performs and maintains accurate classroom-related records and documentation.
    • Advises the VP, Peer & Crisis Program Development and Training of software and hardware needs to maintain a profitable training program.
    • Coordinates the hiring process for the CNA Development team to include interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations.
    • Provides orientation and ongoing training to the CNA Development team staff.
    • Assists and monitors the CNA Development team staff in maintaining employment related credentials and/or requirements.
    • Responsible for the oversight of activities of the CNA Development team staff including assignment of duties, ensure staff are well informed, work is evenly distributed, and performance corrections are made effectively.
    • Provides continual support and coaching to the CNA Development team staff.
    • Coordinates with supervisor, disciplinary actions and recommends improvement plan or corrective action for the CNA Development team staff.
    • Schedules, coordinates, and facilitates various training-related services to support and maximize learning goals and outcomes.
    • Completes clinical documentation as required.
    • Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in L&D program and/or curriculum development.
    • Experience in designing, developing, and conducting training classes in addition to creating instructional materials.
    • Prior experience managing and/or leading training initiatives.
    • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
    • Experience with regulatory audits.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Detailed oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
    • Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
    • Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
