    The E-Learning Manager will join the BHCOE team and oversee the management and optimization of the Learning Hub while carrying out online course development and multimedia / production services in support of online instructional programs. The E-Learning Manager also serves as BHCOE’s point person for inquiries related to CEUs, course development, and organization-wide product purchasing.

    • Developing, recommending, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and work flow
    • Preparing a variety of reports related to operational activities, including analyses
    • Evaluating the quality of production materials and services
    • Monitoring production and revenue-related budget for e-Learning development
    • Working with diverse academic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
    • Utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting activities
    • Communicating effectively through oral and written mediums

    Responsibilities include:

    • In collaboration with marketing and leadership teams establishes the vision and goals, and oversees the work plans for BHCOE’s customer-facing Learning Hub of e-Learning products. Supports the development of strategic offerings/initiatives, related policies and procedures and program promotion; ensures compliance with accessibility regulations.
    • Plans, implements and manages online course development process including customer training, instructional design and quality course design reviews.
    • Researches and implements new instructional strategies to remain competitive in the delivery of education; researches emerging technologies and their application to teaching and learning.
    • Plans, implements and manages the organization-wide processes and operations of media services program including video, ITV, multi-media, and/or other related technologies. Coordinates the scheduling, training, development, and support for production resources. Coordinates production activities within the organization and with external agencies providing production services as needed/applicable.
    • Manages the production of high-quality video, multi-media, and graphic materials to support the delivery of e-learning products and services. Collaborates with marketing and leadership team members to plan, script, and deliver instructionally and aesthetically sound media productions.
    • Participates in the development and administration of applicable policies, strategic plans, goals and programmatic activities pertaining to production service programs at the organization.
    • This position may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Four-year degree (BA, BS) in instructional design and development, multimedia development, graphic illustration, and technical communication or similar field required
    • 3+ years of experience in instructional design and development, and eLearning course development, storyboarding, creative script writing, or digital media production
    • 3+ years of experience creating end-user facing training materials that are audience-appropriate
    • Proficiently use learning technology tools (such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe, flash, as well as photo, video, and sound recording software and editing) and common MS Office application (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, using proper grammar, editing and proofreading skills
    • Design visually compelling training materials such as job aids, training guides, user guides and infographics.
    • Proofread and edit learning content to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of training materials
    • Strong attention to detail to provide thorough and detailed quality assurance of all content.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and follow up.
    • Quick learner who is self-motivated; takes initiative to get things done
