The Associate Director, Learning and Development, is responsible for designing and delivering learning development programs at Built. Reporting to the VP, People & Culture, this role will influence culture and oversee our employee experience efforts across the company.

The successful candidate must be both a strategic/visionary leader as well as a hands-on contributor with the ability to effectively execute plans. This leader should be passionate about creating and managing programs to enhance employee experiences. To be successful, this leader should be comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups, building collaborative relationships, and coordinating with peers to engage needed resources and drive innovative learning solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and implement innovative development strategies and effective learning programs
  • Work collaboratively with the team, business stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to ensure all learning solutions provide best-in-class learning experiences and meet the needs of the business
  • Ideate, design, and launch new learning and development programs with a keen focus on business impact including new hire orientation, leadership training, change management, and ongoing development
  • Assess, refine, and scale existing programs to ensure broad and connected learning experiences are available for all Built employees
  • Develop new strategies for more effective and efficient training processes, tools, and techniques
  • Evaluate the enterprise learning management system and guide course development, assignments, and reporting on measurable results
  • Promote a culture of curiosity and continuous learning
  • Continuously analyze program performance, learning experience, and business needs for strategic improvements to ensure we are delivering best-in-class programs and achieving learning outcomes

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in internal training, Learning & Development, or organizational development — experience in SaaS, software, or tech is highly preferred
  • Experience leading training programs, creating content, developing L&D strategy, and implementing change management solutions
  • Significant knowledge of instructional design and experience developing and deploying on-demand eLearning, instructor-led, and blended solutions
  • Strong understanding of how to work with leaders to identify business issues and create solutions through L&D programs
  • Demonstrated success as a people leader
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with an ability to engage a range of audiences
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions in relation to learning and development and to drive results/metrics in the business through the learning/development organization
